Not sure where the 5 stars are coming from
I have been an addicted fan of this game for quite a while. I have recommended to many others that have enjoyed as well. I previously left a review of 5 stars because it was such a great game that I could relax and spend a few hours with. However, the update of the last week of April 2016 made it a no go for me.
I took a while to learn the game at first, but my scores ended up consistently between 25,000-35,000 in Classic when I would spend several hours. My scores would be double when I would take my time, set it down, and continue later. When I would just screw around and not care I could still play for about 30 minutes ending up around 16,000 or so in Classic.
With this update I have not been able to play past Magnesium. It has taken more effort to even get to Oxygen. I made the mistake of purchasing in-app anti-matter. After that my scores and play time became lower and less; almost begging me to buy more in-app anti-matter. I was stupid enough to keep paying for the anti-matter until I began to wonder if something was off. The friends I had recommended the game to have had the same experiences I have. It could be just a glitch from the update or a push for revenue.
With the Weather Channel Max app screwing over their entire long term customer base in April, I am just left with a crappy taste in my mouth about this update (perception is reality). The Zen mode is fine. The Classic mode is a no go. Ive lost my joy in the game; the game is loosing me and some of the friends that I recommended to it. We shouldnt make a dent in the apps customer base. However, for those of you interested in just playing, stay away from the in-app anti-matter purchasing.
